Instead of searching each auction separately, the Whisky Auction Search interface allows you to search across all covered whisky auctions simultaneously. Type in the name or the major characteristics of the whisky you are looking for, and you will be presented with a list of all matching auction lots. The list of auction lots contains the date, location and platform where the auction takes place. You will be presented with a short description of each whisky and the lot number linking to the respective auction platform.
For those single bottle lots that could be mapped to a whisky in the Whiskystats database, the whisky identifier is presented and links to the respective whisky page on Whiskystats. The latest market value and rating are displayed for those live lots that could be identified. Note that some lots might not be identifiable for various reasons.
Only live auctions are shown by default, but you can also browse past auction results by switching the “Show historic results” toggle on. Use the search filters to include or exclude certain auctions or to filter on whisky specifics on the identified lots.
